Transitioning to a virtual format enabled a clinical study of Parkinson’s disease (PD) to continue, researchers reported at the MDS 2021 virtual congress.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted clinical research, but remote technologies have enabled continued and safe assessment throughout the pandemic,” said Dr Stella Jensen-Roberts of the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York, USA.
