New research presented at AAIC has identified factors associated with high intensity end-of-life care in decedents with dementia.
According to the researchers from Pasadena, California, USA, there are limited data available on end-of-life care provided for people with dementia. Therefore, they analyzed data from patients aged >65 years with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease-related dementia who were enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan and died in 2018–2019.
